This film is the first of the saga, is a film that has devastated whole cinemas in the world. The hunger games consist of 24 people fighting one each other, they need to survive, at the end only 1 can win the competition. But not only that, the chiefs send strange creatures and environmental effects to the "arena", the place where the people fight. These people are chosen in the "crop" where all people from 12 to 18 are in the sweepstake. Katniss´ sister, Prim, was named so he presented himself as a volunteer to cover Prim. Katniss has a poor family, her father died in the mines when a bomb exploted. She had to hunt to collect money and for eating every day, she hunts outside the district (a forbidden space) with her friend Gale.So Katniss an the other boy, Peeta Melark, will live some love aventures in these games.
